Tuition
Assistance
Paideia Academy offers need-based financial assistance to families on a first-come, first-served basis. Levels of tuition assistance offered will depend on a number of factors including total (gross) family income, number of family members, number of children enrolled at Paideia, and any additional extenuating financial circumstances. To apply for tuition assistance, simply complete an FFNA (Family Financial Needs Assessment) application (available from the school office) and submit it according to its enclosed instructions. It is expected that families will pursue every other available means of financial assistance (family, other scholarship funds, etc.) prior to applying for aid directly from Paideia Academy.
Enrollment
Deposit
Families whose children have been accepted to Paideia Academy will receive an enrollment contract that must be completed and returned to the school. This enrollment contract must be accompanied by an enrollment deposit totaling one-tenth (1/10) of the family's total tuition obligation.
Payment Plans

Option 1: One (1) lump sum payment due on August 1, 2008 (remaining tuition balance after enrollment deposit).

Option 2: Nine (9) monthly payments due on or before the first day of each month beginning with August 1, 2008, with the final payment due on or before April 1, 2009. Each of these nine payments is the same amount as the enrollment deposit (one-tenth of total tuition obligation). (e.g. Total tuition = $4,940, One tenth ($494) is payable as an enrollment deposit when the contract is signed and nine-tenths ($4446) are payable as nine monthly payments of $444.60 each.)

Uniforms
A detailed list of specific clothing items and suppliers/vendors for the Paideia Academy student uniforms may be obtained from the school office. Certain uniform items must be purchased from the designated suppliers (LandsEnd and Educational Outfitters) and other items may be purchased wherever desired.
Waiting List
In the event of a full class, a child may be placed on our waiting list after all other admission requirements have been fulfilled and application fees paid. You will be notified in writing of your numbered position on this list. You may withdraw from the waiting list at any time. Returning students will be given first priority in filling available spots. Second priority will be given to siblings of returning students. The remaining openings will be filled by new applicants (who meet all admissions requirements) on a first-come, first-served basis.
