4th Annual Run for the Classics
Paideia Academy hosted its fourth annual 5K Run for the Classics and Family Fun Walk on Saturday, October 10 at the Pellissippi Community Trails on the main Pellissippi State campus. This year’s event included nearly 200 participants that braved the rainy weather and enjoyed this exciting experience. The race also benefited the school’s Capital Campaign and raised over $10,000 which will be applied to the $75,000 matching gift that expires December 31!
Case Antiques, Farm Bureau Agent David Lawrence, Weichert Realitor Agent John Sadler, and Trademark Advertising generously sponsored this year's 5K. This support of Paideia Academy shows their continued commitment to the building of our community.
Cash prizes were awarded in several catagories including: top three men and women finishers and also ages 18 and under winners. Participants received a “5K Run for the Classics” t-shirt featuring the Latin running theme of the year.
Next year's 5K Run for the Classics and Family Fun Walk will be help on October 2, 2010. Please begin making plans now to participate!
