Home School Umbrella
Dear Homeschooling Parents,
It is my privilege to welcome you to this outreach program of Paideia Academy!
For several years, our Board and Administration considered what we could do to extend the ministry of Paideia Academy beyond our campus and into the homes of like-minded believers in the Knoxville area. We identified a need for a home school umbrella program that glorifies God through Christ-centered academics while utilizing a home-based classical approach to education. We believe that this Umbrella Program meets that need.
Whether you are new to home education or a veteran, we want to serve you as you seek to fulfill your responsibility to your children. Our program may simply meet your basic needs or go further to foster a working relationship between your home school and Paideia Academy by participating in field trips, sport programs and extra-curricular club activities. Furthermore, the Umbrella Program is just the first level of Paideia Academy’s ministry to the home school community. Eventually, it is our desire to allow Umbrella students access to our School of Rhetoric classrooms, programs and resources.
It is our desire to build the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ by strengthening families and churches through classical, Christian education!
